Inside is a carbon scraping tool designed to remove carbon for all of the critical places it builds up. We added flint to be used with the steel scraper tool to produce fire. Lastly we added a ceramic sharpening rod. The orange housing doubles as a handle for the two rods.

It scrapers carbon buildup from the back of a bolt, inside a bolt carrier, between locking lugs and around a firing pin. It has a pick to aid in disassembly and for cleaning under an extractor.
